Why there is no instant price
A calculator would give you a number that changes later, which helps nobody. Four things move the real cost:
- Whether it runs. A vehicle that cannot be driven has to be winched on and off the vessel.
- Actual dimensions. A pickup occupies roughly twice the space of a saloon car.
- Condition. Accident damage affects handling, stowage and insurance.
- Paperwork. Title, invoice and age determine what duty is owed on arrival.
